Buenos Aires Government Chief Hails Saudi Distinguished International Role, Services

Buenos Aires, March 23, 2021, SPA – Chief of Government of Buenos Aires Horacio Rodríguez Larreta has underlined the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's support to Argentinians through the cultural, social, humanitarian and awareness-raising programs and activities of the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center (KFICC) in Buenos Aires. Larreta’s remarks came during a visit on Monday to King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center, where a COVID-19 vaccination center has been established. Received by KFICC Acting Director Naif Al-Faieem and the center’s mosque Imam Abdulateef Al-Otaibi, the government chief toured the facility and was briefed on its services and activities. Laretta underscored the distinguished role of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince, in serving humanity and international causes, highlighting deeply rooted Riyadh-Buenos Aires relations. For his part, Al-Faieem pointed out that Laretta’s visit was the first to KFICC, adding that Buenos Aires government chief’s praise of the center’s activities and services will reflect on further cooperation between the KFICC and Argentinian government agencies. --SPA
