GPC calls on parliament to issue law to criminalize acts targeting unity

SANA'A, May 06 (Saba)-The General People Congress party (GPC) called on Wednesday the parliament to issue a law to criminalize any acts targeting the unification.

In it's a statement, the party recommended in closing session of the 7th meeting of
the party to enhance and continue dialogue with all political parts within
commitment with the national principles and under the umbrella of the constitutional
corporations.

The party highlighted the agreement between the GPC and the Joint Meeting Parties
JMP to delay the election for two years, affirming importance of utilizing this
period to do further reforms in the political and electoral system and laws related
to the local ruling in addition to administrative and economic reforms.

The statement also affirmed on protection of the dormancy to improve the political
life and popular participation as well as principle of the peaceful transfer of
power.

The party also called on the Yemeni people to protect the national principles and
its achievements.
