(LEAD) S. Korea confirms 3rd case of Influenza A

SEOUL, May 7 (Yonhap) -- South Korean authorities confirmed the country's third
case of Influenza A Thursday, about a week after the first confirmed infection
was identified.

The 62-year-old woman, however, has been cleared of coughing and other symptoms
from the person-to-person-infected virus, and will be released from the hospital
later in the day, authorities said.
