Bahrain-South Korean Business Council to be inaugurated on Tuesday

Manama, Mar.26 (BNA): A joint Bahraini-South Korean Business Council has been established to enhance trade ties and boost investment opportunities between the two countries. Bahrain Businessmen's Association (BBMA) and The Korea International Trade Association(KITA) announced that the council would be inaugurated on Tuesday (March 30). Businessmen and investors representing different trade sectors in both Bahrain and South Korea will take part in the inauguration ceremony which will be held remotely via videoconference. BBMA Chairman Ahmed Abdulla bin Hindi said that the Bahraini side had agreed with The Korea International Trade Association(KITA) to establish the joint council, after intensive meetings and coordination with the South Korean Embassy in the Kingdom. BBMA Chairman bin Hindi and KITA regional chief for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) will address the inaugural ceremony. South Korean Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Hae Kwan Chung. A memorandum of understanding will then be signed between Bahrain Businessmen's Association (BBMA) and The Korea International Trade Association(KITA).
