President highlights GCC stance over unity of Yemen

SANA'A, May 07 (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh made a phone call
on Thursday with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King of Saudi
Arabia Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz in which he appreciated the positive
stance of the Gulf countries in supporting the development, security
and unity of Yemen.

He valued a decision of these countries to give priority for the
Yemeni workers in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council
(GCC) during the 11th consultation meeting of the GCC leaders.

The two leaders also discussed issues and recent regional and
international developments of common concern.
