Yemeni Defense Ministry Command Meeting Praises Saudi Arabia's Stance with Yemen in the Battle of Joint Defense Against Iranian Expansionist Plans

Marib, Apr. 22, 2021, SPA -- Yemeni Defense Ministry Command praised the stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Yemen and its national army in the joint defense battle against Iranian expansionist plans and national threats. During the meeting, which took place in the Yemeni governorate of Marib, the Yemeni defense minister Gen. Mohammad Ali Al-Maqdashi confirmed that the Yemenis would soon overcome all challenges and achieve a decisive victory, in the confrontations against the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, according to Yemeni News Agency (Saba). For his part, Chief of the General staff Commander of Joint Operations at the Yemeni Ministry of Defense General Sagheer bin Aziz, lashed out at the destructive Houthi plots and alien terrorist ideas, vowing that his people will never accept them. The Ministry of Defense pledged to move towards achieving the aspirations and options of the people in restoring their country, purifying it from Iranian terrorism and sabotage. -- SPA
