Lee to add special IT advisor post

SEOUL, May 8 (Yonhap) -- The presidential office Cheong Wa Dae will introduce a
special advisor post on information technology for President Lee Myung-bak and is
now searching for a suitable candidate, his spokeswoman said Friday.
"Cheong Wa Dae has decided to create the special advisor post to handle
information technology affairs and has begun the selection process," Kim Eun-hye
said in a briefing.
South Korea is one of the world's most wired nations, with more than two-thirds
of homes connected to high-speed Internet and more than nine out of 10 people
owning a mobile phone.
