PROPERTY PRICES MAY BE RAISED BY 15 PERCENT

Jakarta, May 9 (ANTARA) - Prices of properties especially residential houses may increase by 10 to 15 percent this year especially triggered by the decline in house ownership credit interest rates.

"Thus, house owners who had already signed a credit deal before 2009 will enjoy a capital gain of 10 - 15 percent as the result of the price hikes," Chief Marketing Officer of Rasuna Epicentrum Residential Project Deden E Sudarbo said in Jakarta Friday.

Deden made the statement with regard to a discussion on Smart Investment held by PT. Bakrieland Development Tbk in association with PT. Trimegah Securities at the marketing office of Rasuna Epicentrum on Thursday.

He said that price hikes particularly occurred in premium locations like Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, and some locations in West Jakarta.
