Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Selected as IAPB Global Ambassador

Riyadh, June 02, 2021, SPA -- The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) has selected Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz as IAPB Global Ambassador. In a statement, the IAPB disclosed that the selection comes in recognition of Prince Abdulaziz's efforts in the field of ophthalmology in general and the prevention of blindness in particular. It is worth mentioning that Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed is Chairman of the Saudi Ophthalmological Society (SOS); Chairman of the National Prevention of Blindness Committee; Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology (MEACO); and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Prevention of Blindness Union. Prince Abdulaziz also received many international, regional and local awards in the field of ophthalmology and prevention of blindness. --SPA
