Iranian Consultative Assembly Speaker Larijani in Yemen soon

SANA'A, May 11(Saba) - Yemen and Iran discussed here on Monday the
arrangements for the expectant visit of Iranian Islamic Consultative
Assembly' Speaker Ali Larijani to Yemen during the forthcoming days.

Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohammed al-Shadadi and the Iranian
ambassador to Yemen Mahmoud Zada affirmed the importance of the
visit that is in response to an invitation from speaker of
Parliament Yahya al-Rae'i.

The two officials expected that the visit would contribute to
opening large horizons for strengthening the bilateral ties between
the two brotherly countries, particularly in the parliamentary field.

For his part, the Iranian ambassador confirmed that the visit would
assist in developing the mutual relations between the two brotherly
countries, which have many common denominators.

The ambassador confirmed Iran's support to Yemen's unity since its
declaration on May 22, 1990. He affirmed Iran's keenness on the
stability of Yemen and promoting the development process and
democracy in the country.
