Medco Energi International explores oil in Yemen

SANA'A, May 12 (Saba) - Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Ameer
al-Aidrous has held talks with Manager of Indonesian Medco Energi
International Ltd. company Hilmi Bainjuru, over the company's
activities in the oil exploration in the two Blocks 82 and 83 in
Hadhramout governorate.

During the meeting, Hilmi pointed to the company's plans for the
coming period, confirming that his firm would work hard to increase
its investments in Yemen.

For his part, the Yemeni Minister welcomed the company's manager,
noting that his Ministry's readiness to provide all necessary
facilities for the firm in the sake of succeeding its investment
program in the country.
