PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN AND PREMIER OF TURKEY HOLD NEWS CONFERENCE
Baku, 13 May (AzerTAc). Following the meeting and talks, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Premier of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a joint press conference.
President of Azerbaijan and Premier of Turkey made statements.
Emphasizing that the two countries have good bilateral relations President Aliyev drew attention to the brotherhood between Azerbaijani and Turkish peoples. According to him, they had discussed current state and prospects of economic relations, energy issues, as well as situation in the region and ways of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Recep Tayyip Erodogan said the “meeting is the best reply to those attempting to cast shadow on our cooperation. Speculations over the borders are inadmissible. The borders can not be opened, unless the occupation of Azerbaijani lands ends” the Turkish Premier underlined.
