Yemen discusses precautionary measures to face swine flu
SANA'A, May 13 (Saba) - Ministries of health, agriculture and water
discussed Wednesday the precautionary measures to face swine flu
pandemic in the light of the widening scope of new cases in a number
of countries in the world.
During the meeting, which was chaired by the Undersecretary of
Public Health and Population Ministry Majeeid al Jonaid, they
discussed what has been provided such as devices, equipment and
medicines to address any potential for infections in Yemen in terms
of bird and swine flu.
They affirmed the importance of strengthening relations of
communication and coordination in the relevant institutions and the
completion of the requirements of both the precautionary measures
for appliances equipment, medicines and others.
