GREEK DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER VISITS HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION
Baku, 14 May (AzerTAc). Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Miltiades Varvitsiotis and his accompanying delegation visited Wednesday the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The delegation was briefed on the Foundation`s objectives and items taken from the national leader`s personal archive.
The main goal of the Foundation is to study and popularize Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, give an idea to future generations and foreign visitors about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socio-economic, cultural progress, and assist projects that popularize the history and culture of Azerbaijan.
Miltiades Varvitsiotis familiarized himself with photos and documents reflecting different periods of Heydar Aliyev`s life and activity.
He also signed the Foundation`s Guest Book.
