President re-affirms Yemen's support to Iran's nuclear right

SANA'A, May 14 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah re-affirmed Yemen's
support to Iran's right to obtain nuclear energy for peaceful means.

Saleh renewed this attitude during his meeting on Thursday with
Speaker of Iranian Shoura Council Ali Larijani and the accompanying
delegation.

The two officials discussed brotherly relations and joint
cooperation between the two countries and means of enhancing and
improving them in different fields. They also discussed developments
in the region.

Larijani, who conveyed best wishes of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali
Khamenei and of President Mahmoud Ahmamdinejad to Saleh, affirmed
Iran' keenness on enhancing relations and promoting joint
cooperation between the two countries.

He also affirmed Iran's strong support to Yemen's security,
stability and national unity. He indicated desire of many Iranian
companies to invest in Yemen in field of energy, roads, dams and
housing.

He highlighted Yemen's supportive attitudes to issues of Arab and
Islamic nations toped by Palestinian issue.

For his part, president saleh highlighted Yemeni- Iranian brotherly
relations affirming Yemen's keenness on developing and improving
them in different fields.

The president re-welcomed Iranian investments in Yemen clarifying
that they will get care and encourage.
