President Saleh to send letter to Qatari Amir

SANA'A, May 14 (Saba) - The Weekly 26 September leaned on Thursday
that President Ali Abdullah Saleh would send next Saturday a letter
to Amir of Qatar Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani.

For this purpose, President's Political Consultant Abdul-Karim
al-Eryani will fly to Qatar next Saturday in a short visit.

The letter deals with improving mutual cooperation relations between
Yemen and Qatar in addition to discussing the last developments in
the Arab region.

President Ali Abdullah Saleh discussed last Monday on a phone call
with Qatari Prince Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani brotherly relations
between the two countries in different fields.

The two leaders affirmed their joint adherence to enhance the
bilateral relations between the two countries and strengthen
cooperation areas to meet with hopes of the Yemeni and Qatari
peoples.

The Qatari Prince Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani confirmed his country's
attitudes supporting the Yemeni unification and development process.
