Hyundai Engineering wins US$250 mln deal in Vietnam
SEOUL, May 15 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., South Korea's third-largest builder by sales, said Friday that it has clinched a US$250 million contract to build a polyester plant in northern Vietnam.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction said it will build the plant in Hai Phong, a
major seaport city in the northern region of Vietnam, under the deal with PVC, an
affiliate of Vietnam's state oil and gas firm PetroVietnam Corp.
The builder said the plant will be completed after 25 months of work. However, it
did not reveal when ground will be broken.
