Political Affairs Undersecretary meets Italian Foreign Ministry’s Inspector General

Manama, Nov. 8 (BNA): Political Affairs Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, met with the Inspector General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy, Natalia Quintavalle. Ambassador Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa praised the historical relations between the two countries at all levels. He also noted the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Rome in February 2020 which yielded fruitful results and laid the foundation for a growing strategic partnership between the two countries. He also reviewed the current developments in terms of enhancing bilateral cooperation, stressing the importance of following up on the implementation of agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries. Inspector General Natalia Quintavalle expressed her country’s aspiration to enhance relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields. She hailed the Kingdom’s stances in establishing regional security and stability, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
