Speaker congratulates FNC Speaker on selecting UAE to host COP 28 in 2023

Manama, Nov. 12 (BNA): Speaker of the Representatives Council, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, sent a congratulatory cable to Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council (FNC), Saqr Ghobash, on selecting the UAE to host the 28th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP28) in 2023. She praised the UAE’s continuous achievements and its support to the international development efforts. She also affirmed the pioneering regional and international status of the UAE under the leadership of its President, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing the UAE continuous success.
