Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- In Unsan County, North Phyongan Province of the DPRK, there is Unsan Hot Spring famous for high pharmaceutical effect. This hot spring with a long history is registered as a natural monument of the country. It gushes out from various places in two regions. Its temperature is 44-56 degrees centigrade and its pH is 8.5. The main ingredients of this radon-thermae are sodium bicarbonate, sodium sulfate, etc. The alkaline hot spring is efficacious for chronic gastritis, trauma, aftereffect of operation, nervous system disease, female disorders, etc. Recently, a welfare service establishment for hot spring bath and dabbling was built in the township of Unsan County. -0-
