Higher Education Secretary-General hailed Brazil President meeting with higher education students

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Higher Education Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa expressed the council’s pride in Brazil President meeting directly with students of higher education institutions in Bahrain, as part of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence’s initiatives. She praised Bahrain’s efforts under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to spread the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence in the world. The secretary-general said that the meeting would enhance the role of higher education students in decision making and response to various issues and challenges and educate youth about their international role as future pioneers. She stressed that the meeting came as a translation of the aspirations and directives of His Majesty the King in spreading peaceful coexistence and tolerance concepts on a global scale and make Bahrain an example of openness and moderation. Dr. Shaikha Rana noted that this came as a follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the higher education sector, and investment in human capital, in accordance with the principles of Bahrain 2030 Vision.
