Foreign Minister meets Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Fuad Mohammad Hussein, on the occasion of his participation in the 17th IISS Manama Dialogue. They discussed the existing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq, and ways to enhance the frameworks of bilateral cooperation and coordination in various fields to serve the common interests of both countries and peoples, in addition to reviewing the latest developments on the regional and international arenas. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al Ansari, and the Chief of Arab Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Mohammed Al Tarifi.
