Foreign Minister meets Libyan counterpart

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met today the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the State of Libya, Dr. Najla El Mangoush, on the occasion of her participation in the 17th IISS Manama Dialogue. They discussed the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Libya, and the development they are witnessing to enhance bilateral cooperation and joint coordination, and both countries' aspiration to develop these relations to broader levels to achieve common interests. They also discussed the latest developments on the Libyan arena, and the efforts being made to achieve security and stability. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al Ansari, and the Chief of Arab Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Mohammed Al Tarifi.
