DELEGATION OF AZERBAIJAN DEFENCE MINISTRY TO ATTEND “MILEX-2009” INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF ARMS AND MILITARY MACHINERY
Baku, May 20 (AzerTAc). A delegation of Azerbaijan`s Defence Ministry led by the first Deputy Defense Minister, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, General-Colonel Najmaddin Sadikhov left for Minsk, Belarus, to participate in the 5th International Exhibition of Arms and Military Machinery “MILEX- 2009”.
The aim of the exhibition is to demonstrate the samples of production of defense enterprises and enterprises that manufacture products of dual application; to create favorable conditions for making mutually beneficial contacts between manufacturers and consumers of the products of the defense industry.
As a part of visit, Azerbaijani general-colonel met with the first Belarusian Defense Deputy Minister, Chief of Armed Forces Staff, lieutenant general Sergey Gurulyov. The sides discussed prospects of military cooperation between the two countries.
