Curricula Assistant Undersecretary highlights curricula’s richness in UNESCO Conference

Paris, Nov. 23 (BNA): Education Ministry Curricula and Educational Supervision Assistant Undersecretary Ahlam Ahmed Al Amer participated in the 41st session of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), by attending the meetings of Education Committee, the Social and Human Sciences Committee, and Arab States Committee.
Al Amer stressed that the Kingdom’s policies and curricula are based on the values of equality, non-discrimination, justice, equal opportunities, tolerance, coexistence, diversity, pluralism, acceptance of others, dialogue, moderation, openness and living in peace, rejection of violence and combating hate speech and stereotypes.
She also confirmed that Bahrain’s curricula include creative programming, algorithms, robotics and digital electronics, and highlighted the work of Isa Al Kabeer Al Hedaya Al Khalifiya University that is hosting international programs for teaching artificial intelligence, in coordination with the most prestigious international universities and the initiatives of Nasser Centre for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training (NVTC) that has been recognized with awards.
