Door opened for females to enroll in Police Academy

SANA'A, May 20 (Saba)- Deputy minister of Interior Hussein Azzawari
said that the leadership of the ministry has decided to open door
for females to study in Police Academy.

In remarks to information center of the ministry, Azzwari said that
such decision based on electoral platform of President Ali Abdullah
Saleh to enhance participation of women in the public life.

He added that a committee was formed to look at a admission system
for females who have desire to enroll in the academy. Around 3,000
females are servicing in the police facilities, Azzawari said.
