Trail of 16 accused persons of al-Qaeda next month



SANA'A May 20 (Saba) - The Specialized Panel Court has adjourned the
case of the terrorist cell called "Yemen Soldiers Cell" in which
accused of 11 Yemeni persons, four Syrians and one Saudi of
al-Qaedafor the final hearings.

In the session, headed by Judge Mohsen Alwan, lawyer Abdul Salam
al-Marwani applied for the final hearings for proxies of the
eleventh and twelfth accused named Mohammed al-Mashharani and Adnan
al-Shati asking the court to set them innocent.

On the other hand, lawyer Najeeb Haider applied for the final
hearings of his proxy the fifteenth accused named Ahmed Abu-Bakr
asking for his innocence.

While the second and sixteenth accused persons Haithem Bin-Saeed and
Musa'ed Bin al-Nahdi demanded for the court to restrain the case and
set them innocent while the rest accused persons asked to adjourn
the case and to give a chance to submit their final evidence.
