Saudi ambassador: Crown Prince's visit underlines depth of Bahraini-Saudi fraternal relations

Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): Saudi Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HRH Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, praised the visit of Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He said the visit asserts historical fraternal relations between the two kingdoms thanks to the care of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and their continuous keenness to boost cooperation and integration between the two brotherly countries. In a statement marking the visit, the Saudi ambassador described bilateral relations as a model to emulate in cooperation and unified visions regarding Arab and regional issues as well as ways of boosting pan-Arab work, promoting just and comprehensive peace and supporting all efforts to foster regional security and stability. He pointed out growing cooperation between the two brotherly countries and coordinated stances regarding issues deliberated at the GCC summits as well as Arab, Islamic and international gatherings. He added that both countries have a unified vision concerning the Palestinian issue and the need to work out a just solution that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and supports the peace process in the Middle East. The Saudi ambassador asserted growing economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia being Bahrain’s first commercial partner. He lauded the governments’ prominent role in bolstering bilateral cooperation and carrying out joint projects. He also pointed out common visions in dealing with the fast-paced developments and confronting terrorism. He stressed continuous coordination in the political, military and security fields to maintain security and stability in both countries and the region. The Saudi ambassador reaffirmed that the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain is part of Saudi Arabia’s security, adding that both countries stand united against any interference in their internal affairs and all attempts to undermine their security and stability.
