AZERBAIJANI OARSMEN TO COMPETE IN WORLD CUP
Baku, 22 May (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani oarsmen will compete in the second round of World Cup in Poznan, Poland, on May 22, the country’s National Rowing Federation said. The tournament will bring together 414 kayak and canoe rowers from 40 countries.
Azerbaijan will be represented by Valentin Demyanenko, Maksim Propenko and Sergey Bezugli. They will compete in canoe contests in the 500 and 1000 m race.
The semifinal and final of the tournament will be held May 23-24.
