‘AZERBAIJAN WANTS TO SELL ITS NATURAL GAS TO TURKEY AT MARKET PRICE’
Baku, May 23 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan wants to sell its natural gas to Turkey at market price and talks between the parties on the issue are underway, Azeri Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev said.
According to the Minister, Turkey buys natural gas from Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Algeria. “As other countries, we try to bring the prices to conformity with the world market conditions”, Natig Aliyev added.
The Minister also pointed out that discussions continue on the volume and price of natural gas to be transported to Turkey from the Stage-2 development of Shahdeniz field.
