Foreign Minister receives newly-appointed Consuls General

Manama, Jan. 27 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, today received the Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Karachi, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Abdullah Ahmed Buqahous, Consul in Laayoune, Kingdom of Morocco, Yasser Issa Al Haddi and Consul General in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Musa Abdullah Al Nuaimi. During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated the Consuls General on the occasion of their appointment, noting the importance of the strong relations that link the Kingdom of Bahrain and the brotherly countries. He affirmed the interest and keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to care for and protect the interests of its citizens abroad and to provide them with all consular services to achieve the objectives of Bahraini diplomacy abroad, wishing them continued success. The appointed Consuls General of the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed their deep thanks and gratitude to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for issuing the edict on appointing them to their posts. They stressed their determination to spare no efforts to perform the tasks assigned to them, and to take care of the interests of Bahraini citizens abroad.
