Ambassador to Germany meets ruling SDP's official spokesman for Foreign Affairs

Berlin, Jan. 27 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Federal Republic of Germany, Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, met the official Spokesman for Foreign Affairs of the Ruling Social Democratic Party (SPD), MP Nils Schmid. During the meeting, Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's pride in the strong friendship relations with the Federal Republic of Germany and the strength and progress of bilateral cooperation at all levels. They discussed the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in human rights protection, advancement of Bahraini women and freedom of religion thanks to the reforms of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which promoted peace and coexistence among members of society, and guaranteed the full enjoyment of all religious and social freedoms. They also reviewed the efforts of the two countries in the field of combating the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and the participation of the German side in the Manama Dialogue Conference. Strengthening cooperation in the parliamentary field between the two countries and a number of topics of common interest were also discussed.
