HM King receives written message from Pope Francis II

Manama, Jan. 27 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a written message from His Holiness Pope Francis II of the Vatican, regarding the close bilateral relations. The message was handed over to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today when he received Ambassador-designate of the Vatican to Bahrain, Archbishop Eugene Martin Nugent. The two sides exchanged cordial talks and discussed ways to enhance cooperation, notably in spreading the values of love and peace among peoples and promoting the principles of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and freedom of religions and beliefs.
