IMDO conference launches under SCH President sponsorship

Manama, Feb. 2 (BNA): President of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa will sponsor the fifth edition of the Internal Medicine, Diabetes, and Obesity Conference (IMDO) that will be held virtually on February 17-19 by Education Plus. Education Plus Director General Dr. Amin Abdullah expressed his thanks and appreciation to the SCH President for his sponsorship and support to the conference that is considered one of the most important annual health conferences that will be held in the Kingdom. He stressed the importance of the IMDO as a specialized conference that discusses the latest developments in the world of internal medicine, diabetes and obesity. The conference annually witnesses the participation of experts, specialists and workers in the health sector. Dr. Amin pointed out that Bahrain and other countries have recorded an increase in the number of diabetes cases and the IMDO conference will introduce various treatments to improve the quality of therapeutic and preventive measures.
