HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister receives the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the State of Israel

Manama, Feb. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister, today received the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the State of Israel, HE Lieutenant General Benny Gantz, and an accompanying delegation, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness welcomed HE Lt Gen Gantz and the accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Bahrain and expressed his hope that their visit would contribute to enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed Bahrain's dedication to promoting mutual understanding, dialogue, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence between peoples. HRH also reiterated Bahrain's commitment to supporting international efforts to consolidate global and regional peace, stability, and sustainable development. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted that the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both countries during HE Lt Gen Gantz's visit to Bahrain serves to develop bilateral relations and promote cooperation. His Royal Highness noted that the signing of this MoU builds upon the work of the Abraham Accords and efforts to solidify regional security. During the meeting, regional and international developments and issues of common interest were also discussed. The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and The Minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, also attended the meeting.
