Global Renewable Energy Forum kicks off

Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): The 5th edition of the Global Renewable Energy Forum (GREF) kicked off today under the patronage of Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak. Themed “ Climate Change and Renewable Energy, Cooling Strategy, Waste-to-Energy, Sustainable Green Buildings and Clean Environment”, the forum is being organised by the Kingdom University in cooperation with the World Renewable Energy Network (WREN), which is based in Brighton, the United Kingdom. The three-day forum was attended by Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, Shaikha Rana bint Daij Al Khalifa as well as specialists and academics in the sustainable energy field and climate change.
