Thai Foreign Ministry Permanent Secretary receives Bahrain’s ambassador

Bangkok, Feb. 8 (BNA): Thai Foreign Ministy Permanent Secretary Thani Thongphakdi, received Bahrain’s Ambassador to Bangkok Mona Abbas Radhi. He affirmed the depth of the bilateral relations binding the two friendly countries, hailing Bahrain’s pivotal role in the region, He commended Bahrain’s to bolster coordination and cooperation to achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries at the bilateral and international levels. He also lauded Bahrain's presidency of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue, looking forward to further cooperation within the framework of this important regional organization. He welcomed the existing cooperation between the two countries in trade and economy, noting the success of Thai Mart Bahrain. He stressed support for all efforts that would enhance trade exchange between the two friendly countries and encourage Thai businessmen to further communicate with their counterparts in Bahrain and take advantage of the opportunities available in both countries, thus contributing to the advancement of relations to the highest levels, and bringing benefit to the two states and peoples. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation for the generous care provided by the Bahraini Government to the Thai community, which contributed to strengthening relations between the two friendly countries and peoples. Ambassador Radhi praised the friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries, stressing Bahrain's aspiration to increase trade, economic and investment cooperation and benefit from the opportunities available in both countries at all levels. The meeting discussed means to enhance the distinguished bilateral relations between Bahrain and Thailand, and ways to advance them in all fields, especially in trade and economy, public health, food security, tourism, and others.
