Customs President receives Israeli ambassador

Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): Customs President, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received today newly appointed Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain, Eitan Na'eh. He welcomed the Israeli ambassador and wished him every success in his diplomatic duties, asserting the importance of customs cooperation and the exchange of expertise. The meeting reviewed topics of common interest to promote joint customs coordination. The Israeli ambassador visited the airport and seaport and was briefed on customs procedures for the traffic of commercial shipments. He expressed thanks and appreciation to the Customs President, stressing the importance of promoting cooperation between the two friendly countries.
