Yemen, Algeria discuss vocational cooperation in Sana'a

SANA'A, May 24 (Saba)- Yemeni-Algeria Technical Committee for
cooperation in field of vocational training and technical education
held its meeting on Sunday co-chaired by the director of the
training in the Yemeni ministry of vocational training and technical
Education Mohammed al-Dhari and representative of the Algerian
vocational education ministry Samsom Ayasha.

In the meeting, the deputy assistant for planning sector at the
Yemeni ministry, Tawfiq al-Mamari wished that the meeting could come
out with a clear vision for the cooperation between the two
countries in domain of vocational education, highlighting the
historical relations between the two countries.

Al-Mamari affirmed importance of benefiting from the Algerian
experiment in supplying technical corporations in Yemen with
technical and training equipments.

The committee discussed possibilities of activating the executive
program for 2008-2010 singed between the two ministries to train the
Yemeni trainers , and dispatch Algerian experts to train directors
of the vocational institutes and improve capacities of the
inspection.

The two sides agreed to carry out twining agreement between
technical agricultural and veterinary institute in Sana'a capital
and vocational institute in al-Mansorah of Algeria, and increase the
scholarship granted by Algerian side for Yemeni graduates of
vocational institutes from 20 to 25 scholarships
