UoB President receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, Feb. 23 (BNA): University of Bahrain (UoB) President Dr. Jawaher Shaheen Al Mudhahki received Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Miyamoto Masayuki. The meeting discussed areas of common interest and the various developments in education systems and institutions in the two countries. Al Mudhahki commended the efforts made by the Japanese embassy in strengthening scientific, research and academic relations between UoB and Japanese universities and research centers, noting the progress and continuous growth witnessed by this cooperation in various fields. The UoB president stressed the importance of promoting cultural and scientific cooperation through the exchange of academics and students. The ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to strengthen scientific, academic and cultural relations and expressed his pride in the developed relations, wishing the UoB further prosperity.
