Bahraini Ahmed Akbar wins Abu Dhabi Showjumping Championship

Abu Dhabi, Mar.2 (BNA): Bahraini jockey Ahmed Akbar won the Abu Dhabi Showjumping (hurdles 120-125 centimetres high). Bahraini Eyad Fareed finished second in in the championship which attracted large particpations of jockeys who were in the fray, vying for a berth on the podium. The winner extended thanks and gratitude to Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) Chairman His Highness Shaikh isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for his support. He stressed the achievements accomplished in external competitions, which confirmed Bahrain’s sports standing, especially showjumping. Ahmed Akbar and Eyad Fareed als thanked trainer and jockey Khalid Al Khatero, hailing his efforts which enabled them to achieve good results that honoured the Kingdom of Bahrain.
