BDF Chief attends WDS Riyadh 2022 opening

Riyadh, Mar.6 (BNA): BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa attended today the inauguration of the first edition of the World Defence Show WDS Riyadh 2022. The exhibition is being held in the Saudi Capital on March 6-9 under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The BDF Chief toured pavilions of the expo which showcases latest defence equipment and systems from countries and defence industrial companies He was briefed on the latest global defense systems, advanced military technologies and industries, hailing the GCC strides in this field. He wished success for this international exhibition in its first edition, which showcases military knowledge strides and contributes to strengthening regional and international security and serving world peace. The BDF Chief returned to Bahrain this evening, accompanied by Royal Bahrain Airforce Commander Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, BDF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Major-General Ghanim Ibrahim Al Fadhala , Special Royal Forces Commander Major General Isa Mohammed Al Romaihi and other senior officers.
