Date of holding 20th Gulf Football Competition in Yemen advanced to

SANA'A, May 25 (Saba)-Heads of football federations of Gulf
Cooperation Council's countries, Iraq and Yemen approved yesterday
to advance the date of hosting Yemen for the 20th Gulf Football
Competition to be on 22nd November of 2010 instead of 30th December
of the same year.

In their conference held in Sana'a capital, the heads also agreed to
increase financial prizes for champions as well as allocated one
million Saudi rayals for each participating team.

They confirmed their support for efforts of Yemen to host the
competition, expressing their confidence that Yemen would mange to
host the key gulf football event in well manner.

Head of the Yemeni football federation Ahmed al-Asa'ai said that the
perpetrations for hosting the events are going well within a
determined timetable.
