President receives letter from Sultan of Oman

SANA'A, May 25 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on
Monday a letter from Oman's Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.

The letter delivered by Omani Minister of State and Governor of
Oman's Dhofar Sheikh Mohammed Bin Marhoon al-Ma'amari included
congratulation on the 19th anniversary of the Unification Day.

In the meeting, al-Ma'amari affirmed Oman's constant position stands
by Yemen and its unity, security and stability, noting the strong
brotherly ties link the two brotherly Yemeni and Omani peoples.

President Saleh highly valued the positions of Sultanate of Oman
towards Yemen and its unity and stability, confirming that Oman's
stability is from Yemen's stability and vice versa.

Saleh asked the Omani envoy to convey a replay letter to Sultan
Qaboos, wishing him good health and happiness and for Omani people
all progression and prosperity.
