Assistant Chief of Public Security receives Commander of US Naval Forces Central Command

Manama, Mar. 17 (BNA): Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs, Major-General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) and Commander of the US Fifth Fleet (C5F), Admiral Brad Cooper. The accompanying delegation and Coast Guard Commander, Brigadier Jassim Al Ghatam, attended. The Assistant Chief of Public Security welcomed the US official, asserting the importance of security cooperation and coordination. The meeting shed light on the duties of the Coast Guard and its role in protecting the regional waters. The US official visited the Maritime Operations Centre and the two sides reviewed topics of common interest.
