AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES UAE ENERGY MINISTER
Baku, May 26 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has today received the United Arab Emirates` energy minister Mohammed bin Dhaen Al Hamili.
The UAE minister recalled his meeting with the Azerbaijani leader in Davos, saying it was a success.
Mohammed Al Hamili said he is in Baku to discuss prospects for energy cooperation between the two countries both on the bilateral and international levels.
The UAE minister pointed out there is a big potential for energy cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Azerbaijan, which he said has great experience in oil production.
President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan was the initiator and participant of big energy projects, adding the country had been successfully expanding its energy cooperation on the international level.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the visit by the UAE minister would serve to enhance the energy cooperation between the two countries.
