Yemen, IFAD discuss launching food security project
SANA'A, May 26 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakel discussed on Tuesday with IFAD's Regional Director of the Near East and north Africa Omer Zhafer the $- 25 million worth Food Security Project.
IFAD's contributions in the project are $ 3 million while the Islamic Bank for
Development contributes with $ 11 million and the rest sum is funded by Yemeni
government.
The meeting touched on possible choices to carry out the program and priorities must
be focused on whither on rural or modern level.
