HEC Secretary-General receives Palestinian Ambassador

Manama, Apr. 13 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) and Deputy Chairperson of HEC Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, received here today the Palestinian Ambassador to Bahrain, Taha Abdulqader. Dr. Shaikha Rana reviewed with the envoy the brotherly Bahraini-Palestinian relations and ways to further develop them in the academic and research fields, affirming the keenness of the Higher Education Council to enhance bilateral educational and research cooperation, in a way that would serve the two countries’ efforts to develop education and achieve sustainable development. Ambassador Taha Abdulqader expressed thanks and appreciation to HEC Secretary-General for her interest in enhancing academic cooperation between the two countries.
