JORDAN`S DAY OF INDEPENDENCE MARKED IN BAKU

Baku, May 27 (AzerTAc). Embassy of Jordan to Azerbaijan gave an official reception in honor of national holiday of Jordan- Day of Independence in Hyatt Regency Hotel, in Baku.
Addressing the meeting participants, Jordan Ambassador Adel Adaileh told of ways of development of his country after gaining independence, achievements in the fields of economy and culture.
Diplomat praised cooperation between Jordan and Azerbaijan, adding that reciprocal visits of both countries` heads gave an impulse to development of relations in numerous spheres.
Mr. Adaileh underlined that visits of King Abdullah II to Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev to Jordan elevated relations to the highest level. Jordan businessmen forum, industrial products exhibition were organized in Baku as well as Amman-Baku direct flights opened, said Ambassador. Mr. Adaileh congratulated President and nation of Azerbaijan on May 28 - Day of Independence.
Azerbaijan`s Minister for Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev congratulated Jordan nation on this momentous event on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev and conveyed greetings of the head of state to the ceremony participants.
Present at the meeting were MPs, Ambassadors of foreign countries in Baku, representatives of the international organizations.
