AZERBAIJANI FM MEETS US CONGRESS REPS
Baku, May 27 (AzerTAc). Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov has today met here with representatives of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs Alan Makowski and Jonathan Katz.
American guests stressed that Azerbaijan play a key role in the political processes in the South Caucasus.
Minister Mammadyarov said development process in Azerbaijan is based on the right policy of the Azerbaijan leadership. Mammadyarov noted solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is important for ensuring peace and security in the South Caucasus region.
Minister emphasized that solution of the conflict on the basis of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is the only way out.
The sides also discussed bilateral, regional, global issues.
